Emergency Jail & Police Station Visits
Immediate Legal Intervention When Your Family Needs It Most
Call Phil Haddad, Attorney at Law — (708) 833-3505
When a loved one is taken into custody, the first hours can define the case. Whether they are already in jail or still being questioned at a police station, early legal intervention is crucial. I offer rapid-response emergency visits for families who need urgent help before officially retaining an attorney.
Credit Applied Toward Full Representation
These emergency visit fees are fully credited toward the total cost of the case if you decide to hire me for representation.
Nothing is lost — your payment becomes part of your defense.
Once retained, regular communication with your loved one is included in the case fee.
You will not be charged separately for routine jail calls, updates, or attorney-client communication moving forward.
Emergency Visit Options
Jail Zoom Visit (Cook County Sheriff Coordination Required)
Zoom visits are scheduled through the Cook County Sheriff’s Office, and approval may take a few days based on availability.
Once the visit is approved, I will:
- Advise your loved one of their rights
- Tell them what not to say
- Begin early defense strategy
- Prepare them for bond court
- Gather crucial time-sensitive information
In-Person Jail Visit
In-person visits typically occur faster than Zoom because they do not require Sheriff approval.
During the visit, I will:
- Provide immediate rights advisement
- Begin building a defense strategy
- Preserve early details while memories are fresh
- Prepare for the bond hearing
This option offers direct contact and quicker access.
24/7 Emergency Police Station Visit
If someone is detained at a Chicago or suburban station and not yet charged, officers may be actively questioning them. This is the most dangerous stage of any case — and the exact moment when an attorney must intervene.
I respond 24/7, including nights, weekends, and holidays, throughout:
Chicago • Skokie • Maywood • Bridgeview • Markham • Rolling Meadows • All Cook County suburbs
During this emergency visit, I will:
- Immediately stop all questioning
- Assert their constitutional rights
- Prevent damaging statements
- Communicate directly with detectives
- Begin early negotiations and mitigation
- Update the family throughout the visit
This level of intervention often determines whether charges get filed.
